Mirror yourself on talent what do you see?
The project ‘Working in Europe to Connect Talent Development in European higher education’ (CoTalent) has as driving message: “Europe cannot afford to lose talent”. The aim is to equip teachers to deal with talent in the classroom. The three instruments are called the MeTalent Mirror with which teachers, lecturers, coaches and researches working with students, can gain insight in their own views on ‘talent’ and talent development. The YouTalent Spotter aims to enable teachers ‘spot’ students for talent development programs, for example by structuring specific conversations with students in admission procedures. The E-library will eventually provide all involved with knowledge, instruments etc on the subject of talent development, honors and honors education, and all relevant issues connected. All together these instruments are called the CoTalent Wizard: a digital tool which helps individuals, educational teams or institutions to work on talent development. The CoTalent project started in September 2017 with a European grant (Erasmus+ KA2 Strategic Partnerships), and will deliver its final products by August 2020. This will be the first time that progress is shared at an international conference. In this EU-funded project colleagues from Romania, Denmark, Germany, Austria and Belgium collaborate with Dutch colleagues and the European Honors Council.
